Our theme is transience, and we were asked to design a transient experience. A system is said to be in a transient state when a process variable or variables have been changed and the system has not yet reached a steady state. The time taken for a system to change from one steady state to another steady state is called the transient time. A transient process is a process in which variables change over time.
So we want to express this theme through bubbles. The original idea was to express ephemeral at the same time through a skull and a bubble. In history, the skull is often compared to the death of human beings. Compared to the boundless universe, human life is short-lived and can even be called an instant. We want to put a bubble machine inside a huge skull skull. In this way, the bubbles can form a short moment in this skull. The inside of the skull is a flashing light. From birth to death, the bubble can be seen from the outside of the skull to experience the life of the bubble. But during the experiment, I found that the bubble machine in the skull cannot produce bubbles without good ventilation.
After failure, we began to think that maybe we have chosen too many elements when expressing our ideas. So we abandoned the previous concept of the skull and only expressed it through bubbles. Explore more possibilities of bubbles.
In the final presentation, we create a painting by the moment the bubble bursts on the paper. In the end the effect was very successful, everyone involved in the creative process. Create a painting by catching falling bubbles.
